Split Raised-Floor Brush Grommets
Brush-sealed cable grommets for raised-floor tile cut-outs. Split frames fit around cables that are already installed, so openings can be sealed during live retrofits. Rectangular and round formats, sized to the cut-out.

Every cable cut-out in a raised-floor tile is a hole in the cold-air plenum. Uncovered, it lets supply air escape where it does nothing useful; a brush grommet closes the opening while cables pass through its bristles. The US DOE/LBNL guidance on data-centre air management lists sealing floor openings as a basic measure.
Split grommets are the retrofit version: the frame opens or comes in two halves, so it can be installed around live cabling without disconnecting anything. Solid (one-piece) grommets suit new cut-outs before cabling.
Buyers compare grommets on four points: cut-out size and shape (the grommet must cover the existing hole), usable cable opening (the brushed area available to cables), tile thickness / mounting (surface-mounted flange or recessed), and material (frame plastic or metal; plastics from UL94 V-0 rated grades). We supply standard rectangular and round sizes plus custom frames for non-standard cut-outs, and bundle them with blanking panels and gap seals for full sealing packages.

Split or solid grommet?
Split for existing cut-outs with cables already in place; solid for new cut-outs before cabling.
Our cut-outs are non-standard — can you match them?
Yes. Measure length, width, corner radius and tile thickness (see the measuring guide); custom frames are made to cover the hole with the required usable opening.
Is the grommet UL listed?
We state material flammability data (e.g. UL94 V-0 resin) where available. We do not describe a grommet as UL listed unless the finished product carries that listing.
