Ground stands lift the unit higher than feet alone — useful where snow, standing water or defrost ice would block the coil, and where manufacturers ask for clearance below the unit. Plastic and composite stands are light and corrosion-free; galvanised steel stands are adjustable and suit larger units.
Wholesalers typically range two or three heights in each material. We supply matching anti-vibration pads and fixing kits so the installer gets one complete SKU.
Snow risers. In snow regions installers raise the unit well above the expected snow line so the coil stays clear and defrost water can drain and freeze below the unit instead of into it. Raised stands are ordered by height, foot spacing and unit weight; pair them with a condensate drain pan where the defrost water must be led away.
