FRP cable trays replace galvanised or stainless steel where corrosion or electrical isolation matters: chemical and fertiliser plants, water treatment, desalination, offshore, coastal substations and solar plants in aggressive environments.

A typical ladder system uses side rails around 102 mm high with 25 × 25 mm rungs at 300 mm pitch in 3 m lengths, and published specifications give working loads at 1.5 m support span in the region of 30 kg/m for 150 mm trays up to 90 kg/m for 600 mm trays. Always design with the load/span table of the exact system — rail geometry, laminate thickness and resin vary.

We supply straight lengths, bends, tees, reducers, covers, splice plates and FRP or stainless hardware as one package.

Frequently asked questions

FRP or stainless steel tray?

FRP is lighter, non-conductive and resistant to chlorides and many chemicals; stainless is stiffer and better at high temperatures. The environment and support spacing decide.

Do FRP trays need earthing?

The tray itself is non-conductive; earthing requirements for cables and supports follow your electrical design.

Are the trays fire-rated?

Fire-retardant, low-smoke formulations are available. We only state test results that the manufacturer can document for the exact system.
