Pultruded FRP Structural Profiles
Pultruded glass-fibre I-beams, wide-flange beams, channels, angles, square and round tubes for platforms, supports and frames in corrosive environments.
- Minimum order
- Per profile and die; confirmed per quotation.
- Lead time
- Confirmed per quotation.
Pultrusion pulls continuous glass fibres through a resin bath and a heated die, producing constant-section profiles with high strength along their length. FRP profiles are used for platform frames, pipe and cable supports, handrail posts, cooling-tower structures and enclosures where steel would corrode or where non-conductive members are required.
Profiles are specified by shape, dimensions, wall thickness and resin. In Europe, pultruded profiles are commonly specified to EN 13706 (grades E17 and E23); ask for the grade and the manufacturer’s section-property tables so your engineer can design with the correct stiffness — FRP is much more flexible than steel, and deflection usually governs.
We supply standard shapes from qualified pultrusion lines, cut to length and packed per structure.

Frequently asked questions
Can FRP profiles replace steel one-to-one?
Not size-for-size. FRP’s modulus is much lower, so deeper sections or shorter spans are needed to control deflection. Your engineer should design with the manufacturer’s data.
How are FRP profiles connected?
With stainless steel bolts, FRP clip angles and connectors, and structural adhesive where specified.
Can you supply drilled, ready-to-assemble kits?
Yes, from fabrication drawings — profiles cut, drilled and labelled per assembly.
