Plastic gravel grids stop aggregate migrating and rutting, and grass grids protect turf on occasionally trafficked areas. Both keep the surface permeable, which is why they appear in SuDS schemes for parking bays, paths and access routes.
The 500 × 500 × 40 mm cellular panel with base spikes is the format most UK merchants stock. Published load figures for filled grids range from roughly 320 to 500 tonnes per m² depending on design — always ask for the figure of the exact product, since panel geometry, wall thickness and material grade differ.

What sub-base do gravel grids need?
A compacted, free-draining sub-base designed for the expected traffic, with a thin laying course. The grid distributes load and holds gravel; it does not replace the sub-base.
Gravel grid or grass grid?
Use gravel infill for regular vehicle use and grass infill where traffic is occasional and a green surface is wanted.
Can I get my own brand on the packs?
Yes. Private-label cartons and inserts are possible for merchant orders; MOQs are confirmed per quotation.
