Containment separates supply and exhaust air so cooling units can run at higher set-points with less fan energy. A containment system is a kit of standard parts adapted to the rack line: end-of-aisle doors (sliding or hinged), roof panels or chimneys, frames and brackets, blanking and brush seals.
We supply containment components and kits to integrators who design the layout. Frames are sheet steel or aluminium profile; roof and door panels are polycarbonate or acrylic, selected to meet the fire requirements of the project and the local authority — ask for the fire classification you need and we confirm which panel materials the manufacturer can document.

Aluminium frames into the USA are affected by AD/CVD on Chinese aluminium extrusions; steel frames into the EU fall under CBAM.

Frequently asked questions
Cold-aisle or hot-aisle containment?
That is a design decision for your integrator or consultant (room layout, cooling type, fire strategy). We supply parts for either.
What about fire suppression?
Roof designs must suit the fire-suppression strategy (for example drop-away or retractable roofs). Your fire engineer decides; we supply the specified type.
Can you supply only doors?
Yes, components can be ordered individually.
