Inserts are the part of returnable packaging that changes

Containers — KLT, Euro containers, bulk boxes, steel racks — are standardised and last for years. What changes with every new part, and what wears out first, is the interior: pockets, dividers, layer pads. Buying inserts separately lets a plant keep its container fleet and only replace or redesign the dunnage.

Replacing inserts in an existing fleet

  1. Send the container type or inner dimensions and one existing insert (or its drawing).
  2. Add part geometry, weight, parts per layer and surface requirement.
  3. A sample is built and trial-fitted; the approved sample becomes the reference for all repeats.
  4. Repeat orders reference the approved design number — quantity and date only.

Inserts ship without the container, so freight per set is small. Anti-static, low-lint or food-contact claims are only made for materials with test documents.
